Have you ever felt stuck before? Like a cassette player that never gets flipped over? You know every scene and when it will skip, but just have no idea when things will be smooth and clear again…
Ever knew you had for sure overcome past pitfalls just to come by similar yet far grander pitfalls years down the line?
Kind of humbling isn’t it?
It is a ‘if not but for the grace of Yah, there go I,’ moment except it is you that is the object of someone else’s introspective observation. All eyes, mouth, and ears open to your every move.
It is you, rather should I say me in the midst of these hard lessons. They hurt really bad the child in me does not even know how to begin to express the way she feels.
Yet and somehow, the Creator knows every moment of my life to its completion with fine detailing…
Pass me not, o gentle Saviour.
Use me to sound the alarm and advocate for women like myself who have seen so much wrong. And though we have learned better and know better, hardly do we experience how to escape these wrongs ourselves, repeating them to our own detriment.
Dear daughter Atim, grace upon grace. Victory upon victory. You cannot see it now, but I have already made a way. I am not through with you yet. Learn these lessons, do not run away from them.
Heaven is not through with you yet.
